Urbana's Economic and Business Development Division will have a Business Networking Mixer from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Rigg's Beer Company. The purpose of the business mixer is to promote business mingling and to promote business community and collaboration. Go here to sign-up.
Boneyard Creek Community Day & City Stormwater Programs
The 15th annual Boneyard Creek Community Day is coming up on Saturday April 9th. It is a clean-up event held at multiple sites across Champaign-Urbana, and it has not occurred since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The City of Urbana is hosting a site downtown at the Boneyard Creek Crossing, near the intersection of Race and Griggs Streets. Urbana's Culture Fest will feature live music, performances, and interactive activities for the whole family celebrating Urbana's artistic and cultural diversity as part of Boneyard Arts Festival! PLUS all ages art activities, dance performances, and food trucks! Come one, come all!
The competition by Illinois Manufacturers’ Association is designed to highlight the many different products made in Illinois, including everything from food products and military flashlights to automobiles and components for the aerospace industry. This round of votes will determine the Top 16 products from the 311 unique products that were nominated from across the state.
