This afternoon, Governor J.B. Pritzker issued a "stay-at-home" order for the State of Illinois related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This order directs all Illinoisans to remain at home, tentatively, until 11:59 p.m. on April 7, 2020. This order includes many commonsense exemptions for people in the state. The necessities of everyday life are and will continue to stay available in Urbana. Businesses that provide these essential services will continue to operate in Urbana. The City of Urbana will continue to provide and support all workers and businesses in Urbana.
