Illinois Flamenco-Jazz Collective Performance UAG 2023

The Illinois Flamenco-Jazz Collective will perform with special guests Wendy Clinard (flamenco dance) and David Chiriboga (flamenco guitar) from Chicago!
The music will consist of traditional and contemporary flamenco pieces blended with contemporary Black American improvisational practices and orchestrated for an expanded ensemble including a full horn section.
This event is sponsored by Urbana Arts & Culture, the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, the Urbana Free Library, and the Spurlock Museum of World Cultures. The Spurlock Museum acknowledges the support from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
