- Interactive Community Forum Thursday, September 26, 1-5 p.m. Research and practices for removing barriers and connecting children with the natural world University of Illinois Activities & Recreation Center, 201 E Peabody Dr., Champaign $10 before 9/24; $15 day of presentation
- Keynote Speaker: Richard Louv Thursday, September 26, 7 p.m. Groundbreaking author of Last Child in the Woods and leader in the child & nature movement Alice Campbell Alumni Center, 601 S. Lincoln Ave., Urbana $10 before 9/24; $15 day of presentation

The Take a Child Outside Planning Team is offering free registration to low-income, at-risk youth and their families attending any of the ticketed Take A Child Outside (TACO) Week events.
