Money Smart Week

Money Smart Week, April 17-24, is coordinated by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and hundreds of partner organizations dedicated to financial literacy. It is designed to educate consumers about money management and generate awareness of financial education available on a wide range of topics such as saving, investing and using credit wisely. In Champaign, Urbana and Rantoul, roughly 60 classes, seminars and activities will be carried out by representatives of nearly 40 local community groups, financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations, businesses, schools, libraries, government agencies and media outlets.
