Barnes and Noble Book Fair to Benefit Urbana Middle School
Date: April 6, 2013 - 9:00am to 10:00pm
Urbana Middle School (UMS) will host a BookFair at Barnes and Noble in Champaign on Saturday, April 6 from 9am to 10pm. The UMS orchestra, band, and chorus will perform throughout the day.
UMS students will be reading to children during the BookFair and student art work will be displayed throughout the store. UMS will receive a percentage of the profits from the day as long as patrons state they are with Urbana Middle School at the register.
The money raised from this event will be used for an UMS end of the year celebration for students that have not received referrals. Please review the schedule of events below for more details.
- 9:30-10:30 a.m. UMS students will participate in a Curious George book reading with activities and a Curious George character
- 11:00-11:30 a.m. the UMS Orchestra will perform
- 1:00-1:30 p.m. the UMS Chorus performs
- 2:30-3:30 p.m. another Curious George book reading by UMS students
- 7:00-7:30 p.m. the UMS Band performs
