Sustainable Choices 2040: Long Range Transportation Plan Community Conversations Bus
The Community Conversations Bus will be touring to collect your input for the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP): Sustainable Choices 2040 over the next year!
The bus will venture to community events and neighborhoods across Urbana, Champaign, Savoy, Mahomet, Bondville, and Tolono. This will give people in many communities an opportunity to provide their suggestions for the LRTP. The bus features plan workshops, work stations and an informational video.
Summer events include:
WEDNESDAY, JULY 10 @ Urbana Park District’s Neighborhood Nights - Wheatfield Park @ McHenry St. & Pond St., 6:30-8pm: Free tote bags, water bottles, pens & buttons will be available (1 per participant)- SATURDAY, JULY 27 @ Urbana's Market at the Square - 7am - noon at the corner of Illinois & Vine Streets in downtown Urbana
- WEDNESDAY JULY 31 @ Urbana Park District Neighborhood Nights - Ambucs Park, 6:30-8 p.m.
- WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7 @ Urbana Park District Neighborhood Nights - Meadowbrook Park , 6:30-8 p.m.
