2014 Urbana Business Survey Now Available

How can the City help your business?

The City of Urbana is in the process of administrating a survey of local businesses within Urbana to further understand the economic growth of the community. The City would like to use this survey to recognize what areas of improvements are needed and address any concerns the businesses may have. The City intends to use this feedback to create changes for a better business community.

The Urbana Business Survey was first administered in 2002 and again in 2009 as a means of understanding the needs of Urbana business owners and how the City could further economic development in the community. The 2014 business survey will build upon those efforts and help the City to see which areas have grown or decreased over the last five years. In addition, the survey will also help give a larger understanding of what areas need more focus during the Tax Increment Financing District and Enterprise Zone renewal.

Businesses that participate in the survey will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 VISA gift card. Only one survey entry per business is allowed. The survey is estimated to take about ten minutes.
