The Illinois Science and Energy Innovation Foundation (ISEIF) is a new funding organization created by the smart grid authorization in Illinois. They fund non-profits, educational institutions and municipalities that are providing consumer education that helps people learn how to use these technological changes to their best advantage. The Program Director is holding meetings around the state to make sure that the opportunity is widely known before the next grant cycle opens in July.
