Fire Prevention License Application
Effective July 1, 2022 the Urbana Fire Department will send Fire Prevention License renewal invoices after a Fire Inspection has been completed by the Fire Department. If you are a current Fire Prevention Permit holder, your permit will remain valid unless revoked by the Fire Code Official. The Fire Department will contact you to set up an inspection as soon as possible.
If you are a new business owner, you are required to complete a Fire Prevention License Application through our online Citizenserve portal. Please create an account at http://www.citizenserve.com/urbanaillinois to apply online.
