Weather permitting, periodic lane closures for pavement coring can be expected along Vine Street from south of Main Street to south of University Avenue, starting at 7 am, Monday, April 3, 2017 and ending at 5 pm, Sunday, April 9, 2017.
Two-way traffic will be maintained on Vine Street at all times. Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully through this and all construction areas.

Sealed BIDS for the construction of the Airport Road West Reconstruction Project (Section 13-00532-00-PV) including: hot-mix asphalt pavement; PCC pavement; pavement removal; concrete curb and gutter; storm sewer and appurtenances; subbase granular material; aggregate base course; pavement markings; and other incidental work will be received by the City of Urbana at the office of the Director of Public Works, 706 South Glover, Urbana, Illinois 61802 until 1:55pm prevailing time on April 11, 2017 and publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00pm at said office.
The Bid Documents may be examined and copies obtained in the office of Farnsworth Group, Inc., 2211 West Bradley Avenue, Champaign, IL 61821.
All bidders are required to provide current financial and experience statements or other prequalification documents to show satisfactory evidence of the bidder’s competency to perform the proposed work at the time the Contract Documents and Specifications are requested or picked up. The bidder must submit evidence of current prequalification with the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Weather permitting, the northbound lane on Lincoln Avenue between Iowa Street and Ohio Street will be shifted to the turn lane starting at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 through 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 for tree trimming being done by the City of Urbana Arbor Division
Lincoln Avenue will remain open to traffic at all times during the lane shift. Traffic control will be in place to guide motorists through the areas where travel lanes are shifted.

Weather permitting, Old North Lincoln Avenue will be closed to thru traffic between Lincoln Avenue and Oaks Road starting on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 7:00 a.m. through Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. for installation of a water main done by Stark Excavating.
Access will be maintained to all properties on North Lincoln Avenue but no thru traffic will be permitted on Old North Lincoln Avenue between North Lincoln Avenue and Oaks Road. Please use Cunningham Avenue or Market Street as alternative routes.
