East Country Squire Drive Street Closure

As part of the 2016-2018 Miscellaneous Sewer Repair Project, and weather permitting, Duce Construction will be doing sewer repairs and will close all lanes on East Country Squire Drive between Greenridge Drive and South Smith Road starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016 until 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016.

Access to all driveways will be maintained throughout construction. A detour route will be used to guide traffic around the construction site and traffic control will be in place to guide motorists.

Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully through this and all construction areas.

Thank you for your cooperation while this improvement is in progress.

Broadway Avenue Lane Closure

Weather permitting, the northbound travel lane, bike lane, and east sidewalk on Broadway Avenue will be closed between Main Street and Water Street each day from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. starting on Thursday, June 16, 2016 through Wednesday, June 29, 2016 for roofing work.

Broadway Avenue will remain open to traffic at all times during the construction work. Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully through this and all construction areas.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the Office of the Director of Public Works, 706 South Glover Avenue, Urbana, Illinois 61802. Bid Documents can be downloaded below. Bidders shall notify the Engineer, Henneman Engineering, Inc. (217)359-1514, attention Mark Burnett mburnett@henneman.com when obtaining plans, to ensure that they are copied on any Addenda issued.

Bids will be received through 2:00 P. M., Thursday, June 16, 2016, at the Public Works Center, 706 South Glover Avenue, Urbana, Illinois, and at said time the bids shall be opened and read publicly.

Goodwin Avenue and Beslin Street Lane Closures

Weather permitting, periodic lane closures on Goodwin Avenue between Eads Street and Bradley Avenue, and on Beslin Street between Wright Street and Goodwin Avenue can be expected starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016 until 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 (see map).

Bradley Avenue Partial Lane Closure
