Join the Urbana Arts and Culture Program and The Urbana Free Library for Cinema & Sound, a new outdoor event series that combines film screenings with live music! Join us for films, music, and entertainment as we kick off the series with Black Panther (2018) with live music from Ibrahim Ouedraogo.

Registration for NEW students will be held July 28 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and July 29 from 2-5 p.m. at Urbana Middle School. This is for new families only.

NO CHANGE to U-Cycle Schedule Week of July 5

There will be NO CHANGE to the U-Cycle schedule during the Week of July 5.  Since Independence Day falls on a Sunday, U-Cycle will run its normal collection route.  Please continue to set out recycling by 7:00 a.m. on your normal U-Cycle collection day.

In honor of #PollinatorWeek, we'd like to tell you about the upcoming BeeBlitz at the Pollinatarium, located at 606 W. Windsor Rd., Urbana!

Join us at the Pollinatarium on July 3, from 9 to 11 a.m. to celebrate another National Pollinator Week. The University of Illinois Pollinatarium is the first free-standing science center in the nation devoted to flowering plants and their pollinators. It's surrounded by prairie, so it's the perfect place to spot some bees! Please note: the Pollinatarium building is closed until August, so this will be an outdoor event.
