Prevailing Wage Act

The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) requires contractors or subcontractors to pay prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics who perform work on a public works project. The City of Urbana, Environmental Management Division, is seeking bids for removal of refuse and debris from properties that have failed to comply with City nuisance ordinances.  If your company is interested in performing these services, you must submit a completed Pricing Worksheet Nuisance Refuse Abatement 2013 Application with supplemental information before 1:00 p.m. prevailing time on Friday, July 19, 2013 to 706 S. Glover Ave., Urbana, IL  61802.
