Equipment Services
This section is headed by the Fleet Supervisor and provides maintenance of and coordination for replacement of the City's fleet of vehicles and major equipment.
Major Activities of the Equipment Services Division:

Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on all City vehicles and major equipment at proper intervals

Evaluates, rehabs and modifies vehicles and major equipment and repairs minor accident damage

Oversees outside fueling services for fleet

Administers a fleet repair record system to charge City departments for work performed

Evaluates City vehicles and major equipment for replacement and administers bidding process for purchasing

Trains City personnel on proper operation of new vehicles and equipment

Administers and maintains public works two-way radio system
