The City of Urbana is transitioning to a new eProcurement system called OpenGov for publishing solicitations, and receiving vendor responses. Register your account early to begin receiving email notifications of bid/RFP postings.  Registration is 100% free for vendors!

3) You will need to sign in to OpenGov to access the bid materials.

 After you register, you can then subscribe to organizations from across the Country – not just Urbana!

Prevailing Wage Act

The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) requires contractors or subcontractors to pay prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics who perform work on a public works project. Request for Bids - Parking Lot 24 Expansion Project

The project includes constructing a new 12,636 square foot asphalt parking lot including storm sewer and sidewalk work at the southeast corner of Illinois Street and Broadway Avenue.


Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. prevailing time on July 22, 2010 and opened and read aloud publicly at 2:05 P.M. prevailing time on July 22, 2010 at the office of the City Engineer, 706 South Glover Avenue, Urbana, Illinois, 61802.

Bid Invitation for Purchase and/or Lease of Four Copiers

The City of Urbana is seeking bids to purchase and/or lease four (4) copiers and to include these copiers in a multi-year maintenance contract.  Bids will be received until 12 pm on Friday, June 11, 2010.


 The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, to re-advertise the bid, and to waive technicalities.
