Prevailing Wage Act

The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) requires contractors or subcontractors to pay prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics who perform work on a public works project. Closed - Request for Quotes: UPD Firing Range Mowing and Weed Control

The Urbana Police Department is seeking a vendor to mow, trim, and occasionally spray for weeds (as needed) at the Urbana Police Department Shooting Range facilities near the Landscape Recycling Center in Urbana. Weed control will be needed in the large pea gravel shooting pit and the gravel parking lot. The area to be mowed is the entire area inside the chain link fence and an area along the west side of the classroom building approximately 30 x 150 ft. (See attached photos)

Deadline for quotes is 5:00 pm June 18, 2019. The contract is for 2 years, beginning July 1, 2019.

Mowing will be required only on an as-needed basis.
