Prevailing Wage Act

The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) requires contractors or subcontractors to pay prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics who perform work on a public works project. Sealed bids will be accepted at the Public Works Department, 706 Glover, Urbana, Illinois, 61802, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Bids will be accepted up to and no later than 2:00 p.m. CST, Thursday, March 7, 2019 and at said time the bids shall be opened and read publically.  The bid document is attached for download on this page below.
