Prevailing Wage Act

The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) requires contractors or subcontractors to pay prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics who perform work on a public works project. Request for Proposals for Professional Audit Services - CLOSED

The City of Urbana Illinois will receive sealed proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.


PROPOSAL DUE DATE: Proposals will be accepted by the Finance Department until 4:00 pm, local time, on April 2, 2014. All proposals must be received in a sealed envelope with original signatures. No faxed or electronically submitted proposals will be accepted. All proposals received after the date and time shown above will not be considered and will be returned to the Respondent unopened. RFP 2014-FIN-01 is available below, or for pick up at the City of Urbana Finance Department, 400 South Vine Street, Urbana, IL 61801.


The City of Urbana reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive or not waive any technicalities in the proposals, and accept any proposal it deems most favorable to the City.
