The City of Urbana is transitioning to a new eProcurement system called OpenGov for publishing solicitations, and receiving vendor responses. Register your account early to begin receiving email notifications of bid/RFP postings.  Registration is 100% free for vendors!

3) You will need to sign in to OpenGov to access the bid materials.

 After you register, you can then subscribe to organizations from across the Country – not just Urbana!

Prevailing Wage Act

The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) requires contractors or subcontractors to pay prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics who perform work on a public works project. Closed - Request for Proposals: Force Main Cleaning Project

The City of Urbana will receive proposals to provide for 2,404 feet of 2-inch diameter force main cleaning.

The proposal document may be obtained from the Urbana Public Works Department, 706 South Glover Avenue, Urbana, IL, 61802. Proposals will be received until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 16, 2018, at which time the proposals will be opened and the names and bids of the Proposers read publicly.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive irregularities or technicalities.

Closed - Request for Proposals: CUSWDS Sample Collection and Analysis

The Champaign-Urbana Solid Waste Disposal System (CUSWDS) will receive proposals to provide for Collection and Chemical Analysis of Groundwater, Surface Water, and Leachate Samples from the Urbana Landfill Complex.

The proposal document may be obtained from the Urbana Public Works Department, 706 South Glover Avenue, Urbana, IL, 61802.

Lot Size: 76,176 square feet, 1.75 Acres
Population Counts: 84,579 people withing a 10 minute drive, 179,001 withing 20 minutes, and 222,698 within 30.

The Request for Proposal can be obtained from the City of Urbana, Community Development Services Department, Grants Management Division, 400 South Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801 during regular office hours.

To be considered, completed proposal packets must be returned no later than 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at which time proposals will be publicly opened.
