Economic Development Marketing Campaign (Solicitation #2223-01)

The Urbana Economic Development Division is seeking email proposals for services to develop an Economic Development marketing campaign to use in attracting development and business to targeted areas within the City of Urbana, as well as, tourists and new residents. The selected firm will be responsible for the development of a marketing campaign that can be used in both digital and print media platforms. We are looking for a variety of options to use in each media platform. Proposal should include the following:  Identify advertising and public relations strategies and tactics for three distinct groups:

--Marketing pieces that will be used to attract businesses to targeted areas of the community which may be used in industry publications, mailings, signage, trade-shows, social media, online, and video

 --Tourism/Destination Traveler Audiences: daytrip and overnight travelers, sports families who travel to tournaments at the nearby Rantoul Family Sports Complex, other visitors to Urbana who frequent the University of Illinois sporting events and artistic performances. The campaign should help in creating a destination identity for the community.

The City of Urbana will receive bids for Custodial Services for the City Facilities. 

Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 1:00pm (CST) at the Urbana City Building, Second Floor Executive Conference Room.

Attendance is strongly encouraged as no additional sites visits will be permitted.

Bids will be accepted thru Tuesday, June 2, 2022 by 2:00pm central time.

The Urbana Free Library is requesting proposals for the remediation of mold in the Tepper Building at 209 Elm Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801.

Sealed proposals will be due to The Urbana Free Library on June 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Allowable means for transmitting proposals: hardcopy.

There will be a proposal meeting on May 17, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and a site inspection directly after the pre-bid meeting. Location for above: Tepper Building 207 Elm St., Urbana, Illinois 61801, west of the Urbana Free Library.

Sealed BIDS for the construction of Windsor Road (Section 21-00637-00-RS) including: hot-mix asphalt surface removal and replacement, new aggregate wedge shoulders, detector loop replacement that will be received by the City of Urbana at the Public Works Department, 706 South Glover, Urbana, Illinois 61802 until 2:00 PM prevailing time on Friday, May 13, 2022 and publicly opened and read aloud at said office.
