Cops on a Roof!

Cop on a Roof!The 17th Annual Dunkin’ Cop on Rooftop event will take place on Friday, May 17, 2019.

During this fundraiser, hundreds of local law enforcement officers will stake out Dunkin’ rooftops to heighten awareness and raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. This includes the Urbana Police Department! Come join us this Friday from 6am to 10am at Dunkin', 404 W. University. Anyone that makes a donation will receive a coupon for a free donut. Think Urbana Neighborhood Tour at Stone Creek

Join the Atkins Group, City of Urbana, and Urbana Business Association for a tour of the Stone Creek neighborhood.

Come learn all about this Think Urbana eligible neighborhood. Golf cart tour will begin at 3:30 leaving from Attie’s Bar and Grill. Drinks and snacks to follow.

Stone Creek covers 500 acres and surrounds a championship 18-hole golf course. The neighborhood includes convenient shopping at the Pines, spacious streetscapes, and miles of walking, jogging and biking paths.

The City of Urbana Public Arts Program, Urbana Park District, 40 North 88 West Champaign County Arts Council, The Urbana Free Library, and the Urbana Business Association are proud to present the Downtown Get Down, a downtown events series that will take place on the 4th Saturday of the month May-August on Main Street in the heart of Downtown Urbana! The Downtown Get Down features live concerts, DJs, an artist’s street market, kids zone, teen maker lab, inflatables, games, live arts demos, performances, specials in the downtown businesses and so much more!

Urbana’s Market at the Square is celebrating its 40th year, and has been a mainstay of our community’s Saturday morning activities since 1979, and is home to over 150 vendors selling Illinois-grown produce, plants and flowers, farm products such as meat, cheeses, eggs, honey, Illinois wine, and fresh baked goods. There is also a wide variety of handmade local art & crafts for sale and numerous foods trucks producing a variety of menu items sure to satisfy any palate.
